Near Caledon in Ontario, the Bruce Trail used to pass through these badlands. A play of red, sandy earth, with deposits of green clay layered throughout, it feels otherworldly and is stunningly beautiful. Delicate and easily destroyed, it is no longer freely accessible to the public, but you can now walk on a boardwalk - still worth a visit.
