Lunch breaks are a lot quieter these days... painted in the height of all the covid restrictions... This favourite lunch break spot for some locals became a stark reminder of the lack of social contact and the emptiness that that might bring. Initially I had a person in one of the chairs, but having just the chairs in a group 'talking to each other' made the painting better....
